Ti-6Al-4V
This alpha-beta alloy is the workhorse alloy of the titanium industry. I build arrows with it because it has a high tensile strength, unparalleled toughness, and the best density to weight ratio. Atomic Number 22 also has extraordinary corrosion resistance, but most of all, it's just plain cool.
Wood Shaft 3.0 -Titanium Edition
The titanium internal footing can be used on all wood shafts and is not visable. The reinforcement starts from three inches of 1/8" diameter titanium rod centered behind the broadhead. You'll be in tune with the traditional style, adding durability, and maximizing your arrows power transfer with more weight up front. Using titanium for internal footing strengthens the wood shaft remarkably, improves penetration, and has become the advantage among hardcore traditional bowhunters.
Finished Arrow Specifications
This application can be used on tapered or round shafts. I use 3" of .125" = 1/8" diameter, Ti-6Al-4V -solid titanium rod. The titanium will be centered and sealed inside the tip of the shaft and flush with the end of the wood tip. Each arrow tip will be square and balanced. This will add 40-42 grains up front depending on final weight matching of the set.

40 or 50 Grain Wood-Screw-Outsert
Choosing to shoot wood arrows doesn't have to mean limiting your broadhead and point choices. This design opens you up to an entirely new world of strength plus all your favorite screw-in points and broadheads. That means more options, and more options means more success on the range or in the woods.
Superior Strength and Design
The adapter is threaded onto the blunt shaft and there is no glue or taper required. The thread inside the adapter attaches firmly to the shaft, making accidental loosening impossible, plus a 100% solid connection between your broadhead and the shaft. The transition between the adapter and wood is smooth and will not cause issues when pulling from targets or impede forward momentum.
Premium CnC Machined Aluminum
Our adapter outserts are made of high grade Aluminum, an ideal material for adapters because of its low weight and corrosion-resistance. The 40 grain outsert screws onto the shaft. Our 50 grain outsert uses a 7 degree taper on the end of the shaft and glued on. Two colors are available, the natural Aluminum or our Black hunting version.
Finished Arrow Specifications
The total length of the adapter is 1.625" = 1 5/8"
The wood shaft screws .875" = 7/8" inside of the adapter.
The adapter adds .75" = 3/4" to the total length of the arrow.
The outside diameter is .3281 = 5/16".
